Mr. Hobby FAQ

We are sorry, but we do not sell directly to consumers. Please purchase from your local hobby shop or through online shops.

Unfortunately, they cannot be mixed because the ingredients of each are completely different and can result in a mushy texture.

We do not recommend mixing Mr. Hobby paints with products from other brands. This is because the composition of the products may be different and can cause poor results.

Mr. Color paint is a solvent-based acrylic resin paint. Aqueous Hobby Color is a water-soluble acrylic resin paint. Acrysion is a water-based acrylic resin paint (emulsion type).

For Mr. Color, please add 0 to 0.5 parts of thinner to 1 part of paint for brush painting.

For airbrush painting, please add 1.5 to 2 parts of thinner to 1 part of paint.

Since every color is slightly different in viscosity, it is best to gradually adjust the ratios.

Water-based colors such as Acrysion do not require dilution when applied with a brush.

When diluting water-based colors with an airbrush, please use a ratio of 1 part paint to 0.3 parts thinning liquid.
